Organisers of the FORMULA 1 OOREDOO QATAR GRAND PRIX 2021 on Wednesday revealed the schedule of activities at the 3 Fan Zones that will provide entertainment to ticket holders across the weekend.Â
On Friday 10.30am, gates to the iconic Losail Circuit Sports Club (LCSC) will open to fans who have been waiting in anticipation for the Nov 19-21 race weekend.
Thousands of spectators are expected to watch the F1 drivers in action on track as well as enjoy the Fan Zone entertainment on offer.Â
Event organisers have put together a full list of exciting activities at the 3 Fan Zones.Â
In Fan Zone 1, fans can try the Augmented Reality Race Car App on their mobile phones and also experience the VR and Motion Simulators. There is a ‘remote control’ race track and Fans will be able to pose against the ‘Driver Photo Wall’ and have their pictures taken on a ‘winner’s podium’. E-sport activities have also been scheduled on all days. There will be live graffiti as well as all day performances on the F1 Main Stage.Â
In Fan Zone 2, ticket holders will enjoy their photocall sessions at the ‘Driver Photo Wall’ and pose on the ‘winner’s podium’ besides trying their hand at F1 Simulators and the ‘remote control’ race track.Â
In Fan Zone 3, fans will get to experience similar activities as Fan Zone 2 and in addition will be able to watch a Red Bull Moto Stunt show along with Live DJ performances.Â
Organisers have also set-up food courts across all Fan Zones offering a wide variety of cuisines while fans can also visit F1 merchandising outlets to purchase racing memorabilia on all three days of race weekend.Â
Ticket holders will also be able to catch live air shows on all the three days, organisers said on Wednesday.Â
This weekend’s event at LCSC will go down as the biggest racing show in the country. Organisers – who are expecting a full house at LCSC on all the three days – have urged ticket holders to arrive at the venue early.Â
Travel plans comprising of Metro and shuttle services have been already dispatched via email to every ticket holder. Information is also available on the LCSC website.
Fans are once again reminded that MOPH’s COVID-19 rules for ticket holders will be strictly implemented inside the venue throughout the weekend. Every ticket holder residing in Qatar will have to be vaccinated with the golden frame on the Ehteraz App on their cellphones at the entry point.
While seated in the grandstands, fans are required to wear a mask.Â
