The full details of the eFIBA World Finals Qatar Season 4 have been officially announced during a press conference held at the Qatar Olympic Committee headquarters. Organized by FIBA in collaboration with the Local Organizing Committee, the tournament will take place at Mall of Qatar from 3 to 4 July 2026, bringing together eight national teams competing on the NBA 2K platform.


The event highlights Qatar's growing role in global esports and serves as an important milestone on the road to the FIBA Basketball World Cup Qatar 2027, further strengthening the country's position as a leading international sporting destination.


Eight Nations to Battle for the Title


The participating teams have been divided into two groups, with each country represented by five players, making a total of 40 competitors.


Group A includes:


Algeria
France
Germany
Philippines


Group B includes:


Qatar
Dominican Republic
Lebanon

USD 50,000 Prize Pool Up for Grabs


The tournament features a total prize pool of USD 50,000, rewarding both team performances and individual excellence.


Team prizes include:


Champions – USD 20,000
Runners-up – USD 10,000
Third place – USD 6,000
Fourth place – USD 4,000


Individual awards include:


Finals MVP – USD 2,500
Defensive Player of the Tournament – USD 2,500
All-Star Five Team – USD 1,000 for each selected player
