Kuwait Dust storm
Air traffic resumed in Kuwait after it was stopped for a few hours due to bad weather conditions in the country, Civil Aviation Authority announced. Many incoming and outgoing flights were rescheduled.
A huge dust storm had blanketed the country earlier today turning the whole country into orange reducing the visibility to almost zero.
“Air traffic at Kuwait International Airport was temporarily suspended at 2:20 pm local time in the State of Kuwait due to the dusty situation in the country,” Aviation Authority announced earlier today.
Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said in a weather update a formation of dust mass at the Northeastern of the Arabian Peninsula may result in low visibility in Qatar.
It is expected to reach the country tonight and tomorrow at dawn.
