Qatar is preparing to welcome the third edition of the Pakistani Mango Festival, also known as the Hamba Exhibition, which will open on July 9, 2026 at the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif. The ten‑day celebration of Pakistan’s famed mango varieties will run until July 18, 2026, offering visitors a vibrant cultural and culinary experience.
Organizers confirmed that the exhibition will showcase mangoes imported directly from Pakistan’s most renowned growing regions, including Chaunsa, Anwar Ratol, Sindhri, and Dussehri. These varieties are celebrated internationally for their sweetness, aroma, and distinctive flavor profiles, making them a highlight of the summer season.
The festival will be open daily from 4 pm to 10 pm, giving families, residents, and tourists ample opportunity to explore the diverse range of mango‑based products and delicacies. Visitors can expect to enjoy fresh juices, ice creams, sweets, and traditional desserts crafted from the fruit, alongside creative culinary innovations presented by local and international outlets.
The second edition of the festival drew wide participation, with more than 60 Qatari companies, over 10 specialized Pakistani mango exporters, and 25 restaurants and food outlets contributing to the event. Organizers described it as an immersive cultural showcase that received enthusiastic responses from attendees, highlighting the strong demand for authentic mango experiences in Qatar.
This year’s edition aims to build on that success, reinforcing the festival’s role as a platform for cultural exchange and commercial cooperation between Qatar and Pakistan. Beyond the culinary attractions, the event underscores the importance of agricultural trade and the shared appreciation of mangoes as a symbol of hospitality and tradition.
With Souq Waqif serving as the backdrop, the festival is expected to attract large crowds, offering a blend of entertainment, gastronomy, and cultural engagement that reflects Doha’s growing reputation as a hub for international events.
