Hamad International Airport
Hamad International Airport has announced gradual resumption of flight operations by several international airlines to and from Doha.
According to an operational update, airline partners have begun returning in stages, reflecting a steady normalization of air travel and renewed confidence in regional demand.
Flight resumptions began on April 21 with flydubai, followed by Air Arabia on April 22. On April 23, additional carriers — including Oman Air, Tarco Aviation, US-Bangla Airlines and Royal Jordanian — resumed services.
Further expansions took place on April 26 with the return of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Middle East Airlines and Nepal Airlines, while Badr Airlines and Syrian Air resumed operations on April 27.
On April 28, EgyptAir and Himalaya Airlines restarted flights. A significant increase in operations is expected on May 1, when Air India, Air India Express and Gulf Air are scheduled to resume services.
Subsequent resumptions include Ethiopian Airlines on May 4, SriLankan Airlines on May 11 and Kam Air on May 16. The final phase will see Royal Air Maroc return from July 1.
Airport authorities noted that the staggered approach is designed to maintain operational efficiency while accommodating rising passenger volumes. Flight operations continue in coordination with relevant authorities and airline partners, with schedules subject to adjustment.
Passengers are advised to contact airlines directly for bookings and updated flight schedules, as timings may change due to operational requirements.
