Doha Metro benefits more than 100,000 travellers during closure of Corniche road

Doha Metro announced that the services have benefitted 106,349 travellers during the closure of Corniche road.

The metro services were used as the reliable and common mode of transport for the community during this temporary closure.

In its official twitter account, Doha Metro said that all these passengers used the services across seven stations and thanked the commuters for opting to travel in Metro.

The temporary closure of Corniche road came into effect from August 6 in order to implement construction works.

Both the sides of the road were opened to traffic today (August 10) early morning.
