The Doha Forum 2024 will highlight Sunday key topics related to humanitarian work, digital governance, and international cooperation.
On its second and final day, the Forum will feature extensive discussions aimed at formulating broader global objectives and exploring innovative solutions to address challenges and shape a sustainable future.
Held over two days under the theme "The Innovation Imperative," the Doha Forum offers a crucial opportunity for decision-makers, thought leaders, innovators and experts to meet, exchange visions and ideas, and explore innovative solutions to address global challenges amid escalating conflicts and violence worldwide.
The opening ceremony on Saturday saw the presentation of the Doha Forum Award - an annual honor recognizing individuals or organizations that embody the Forum's core values of dialogue, diplomacy and diversity - to a group of correspondents and photojournalists in recognition of their tireless dedication and innovative approach to covering crises and armed conflicts, as well as conveying the key global stories and events to a wide audience worldwide.
The first day of the Doha Forum 2024 featured in-depth discussions and dialogue sessions on critical topics, including geopolitical issues, technological governance, global security, economic development, peace-building, humanitarian crises in conflict zones, and more.
Saturday's panels addressed a variety of important topics, including economic competitiveness in the era of artificial intelligence, the challenges of resolving modern conflicts and the role of international mediation, the inevitability of innovation, strengthening the United Nations Charter for world peace and sustainable development, the power of culture, economic security, and the balance between global cooperation and technological sovereignty, among others.
The "Pathway to Peace" exhibition is held on the sidelines of the Doha Forum 2024, highlighting the State of Qatar's efforts in mediation and peace-building, and its successes in this field.
The 22nd edition of the Doha Forum sees the largest participation in the event's history, further strengthening its momentum and reinforcing its great legacy as a global platform for pioneering discussions on the most pressing issues and challenges facing the world.
