Doha Fashion Summit

Doha is preparing to bring designers, models, entrepreneurs, brands and creative professionals together for the Doha Fashion Summit 2026, a multicultural celebration of fashion built around this year’s theme, “Threads of Fashion.”

The event is scheduled to take place on September 18, 2026, at Pullman Doha, bringing together established and emerging talent from across Qatar’s diverse fashion community.

Fashion Beyond the Runway

The Doha Fashion Summit is designed to go beyond a traditional fashion show.

Organisers say the “Threads of Fashion” theme represents the connections that bring the industry together — from designers and artisans to models, garments, businesses, cultures and creative communities.

The summit aims to create a shared platform where tradition meets innovation and established designers appear alongside emerging talent.

By bringing together different nationalities, generations and creative backgrounds, the event also seeks to reflect Doha’s multicultural identity and growing creative sector.

Diverse Creative Line-Up

The 2026 edition will feature designers and brands working across couture, bridal fashion, children’s clothing, jewellery, accessories and contemporary design.

Participants announced for the event include:

•    Istituto di Moda Burgo Qatar
•    Filipino Fashion Designers of Qatar (FFDQ)
•    Celso Collado Dahil
•    Nin Arbe Ladra
•    Vesti
•    Rosabella by Mon Sarmiento
•    Diva Boutique Kids Collection
•    Shine Gold and Diamond
•    Sonya Styles

Together, the participants are expected to present a broad mix of styles and cultural influences on one multicultural runway.

Emerging Models Get Their Moment

Models will also play a central role in the summit.

The runway is expected to feature participants representing different nationalities, ethnicities, ages and levels of professional experience.

Established models will be joined by emerging talent, including participants from Sinag Fashion Camp Models, giving aspiring models an opportunity to gain experience in a professional fashion-show environment.

Casting sessions, fittings, rehearsals, choreography, hair and makeup, and backstage preparation will all form part of the production process.

Organisers describe models as an important part of translating designers’ creations into stories that audiences can experience through movement and presentation.

Collaboration Behind the Event

The Doha Fashion Summit 2026 is being developed through collaboration among several producers and creative partners.

Mansoor Abdul Majeed is serving as Main Producer, while Guidance Events, managed by Abdul Wahid, and Rehaab Media are participating as co-producers and event partners.

The event is also supported by Tala Digital Media, Advertising and Events, involving Ramon Sarmiento and Clint Ocfemia.

The wider production team is expected to bring together professionals from fashion, media, event management and creative industries.

A Platform for Creativity and Entrepreneurship

Beyond showcasing clothing and accessories, organisers envision the summit as a meeting point for fashion, entrepreneurship, education, culture and community.

Fashion students will have opportunities to engage alongside experienced designers, while brands, suppliers, models and creative professionals will be able to build connections within Qatar’s growing fashion ecosystem.

The summit also aims to encourage collaboration between Filipino creatives, international participants and Qatar’s wider multicultural community.

By providing a platform for both emerging and established names, organisers hope the event will help creative professionals gain visibility while strengthening networks within the industry.

Doha’s Fashion Community Takes Centre Stage

Qatar has increasingly developed platforms supporting fashion, design and creative talent, with Doha hosting exhibitions, events and initiatives connecting regional designers with international audiences.

Doha Fashion Summit 2026 adds to that momentum by focusing on grassroots participation, multicultural representation and collaboration across different areas of fashion.

At the centre of the event is the idea that every designer, model, artisan, student, entrepreneur and creative professional represents a separate thread — and that bringing those threads together can create a stronger creative community.
