Department of Zakat Affairs unveils new visitor Reception Hall

The Department of Zakat Affairs at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has opened a new hall to accept applications from public for assistance.

Saad bin Omran Al Kuwari, the Director of the Zakat Affairs Department, stated that the new reception hall is designed to accommodate a larger number of visitors. The department is also actively working to increase its workforce to efficiently process assistance requests.

Al Kuwari highlighted that the department welcomes visitors weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays during official working hours in the morning shift. The staff addresses inquiries about assistance submitted through the department’s website or the department’s mobile application. Additionally, the department receives any missing documents required from visitors to ensure the completion of their applications.

He further noted that the entrance to the new visitor reception hall is situated on the western side of the department building.
