Strong Winds and High Seas

The Department of Meteorology has cautioned that Thursday’s weather will bring strong winds and high seas across Qatar. Offshore winds will range between 12 and 22 knots, occasionally gusting up to 30 knots. Sea levels are forecast at 3 to 5 feet inshore, while offshore seas will vary between 3 and 7 feet, rising to 10 feet at times. Visibility is expected to remain between 5 and 9 kilometers inshore and 4 to 10 kilometers offshore.
