Department of Meteorology Warns of Strong Wind and High Sea

Doha, September 22 - Weather inshore until 6 p.m. on Wednesday will be hot daytime with slight dust at times and some local clouds and weak chance of rain at places, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report.

Offshore will be fine, the report added, warning of expected strong wind and high sea.

Wind inshore will be westerly to northwesterly 06 to 16 knot gusting to 22 knot at places at times.

Offshore, it will be northwesterly 08 to 18 knot gusting to 22 knot at times.

Visibility will be 4 to 9 kilometer.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet, while offshore it will be 3 to 5 feet, rises to 7 feet at times.
