Department of Meteorology Warns of Strong Wind and High Sea on Friday

Weather inshore on Friday will be hazy at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected strong wind with high sea by evening.

Offshore will be hazy to misty at places at first, then becomes hot daytime, the report added.

Wind inshore will be Northwesterly 08 - 18 KT Reaches to 24 KT by evening.

Offshore, it will be variable less than 05 KT at first, then becomes Northeasterly-Northwesterly 5 - 15 KT gusting to 22 KT at places at times.

Visibility will be 4 to 9 kilometer.

Sea state inshore will be 2 - 5 FT at first, rises to 8 FT by evening , while offshore it will be 1 - 3 FT, rises to 4 FT at times.
