MoI shared a video detailing the road closure
In light of the upcoming Eid Festival, which will run for three days, from 3 to 5 May 2022, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced the closure of the Corniche Road via its social media platforms.
There will also be closures on other roads connecting with the corniche road, such as Ras Abu Aboud Intersection and Sheraton Intersection.
This intersection will also be closed from Sheraton to Port.
Other alternative methods for arriving at the festival, such as the use Public Transportation methods such as the bus or the metro, can be used to avoid traffic and arrive on time to witness the festival activities.
