The upcoming week in Qatar could see moderate to heavy rainfall, potentially accompanied by thunderstorms, as per the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD).

In a social media update, QMD reported:

"Based on the latest numerical forecast model, the weather is forecasted to range from partly cloudy to cloudy starting Sunday, April 14th, 2024, and continuing throughout the week. There is a possibility of scattered rain, varying from moderate to heavy, with the potential for thunderstorms in some areas, along with occasional strong winds."
