Manama: Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, held a telephone conversation with Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, to review the latest developments in the Middle East and discuss ongoing efforts to promote regional stability. 

During the call, the two ministers exchanged views on the evolving regional situation and reviewed the latest political and security developments affecting the Middle East. They also discussed regional and international initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and preventing further escalation. 

The ministers stressed the importance of resolving regional crises through dialogue and diplomatic solutions, reaffirming their shared commitment to peaceful approaches that contribute to long-term security and stability across the region. 

They also highlighted the need to ensure the freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and other international waterways, underscoring the strategic importance of maintaining secure maritime routes for global trade and regional economic stability. 

In addition to regional affairs, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between Bahrain and Egypt and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation across areas of mutual interest. 

The telephone conversation reflects ongoing diplomatic coordination between Bahrain and Egypt as both countries continue to support regional efforts aimed at de-escalation, dialogue and the preservation of peace and security in the Middle East.
