Aspire Ramadan Festival
Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) announced the 9th edition of Ramadan Sports Festival which is held from April 6 to 17, from 9:30pm until midnight.
This edition features ten activities ranging from sports competitions to physical challenges for men, women and people with special needs.
A number of activities will take place for men’s competition including:  Beach Volleyball from April 6 to 10 at Aspire Park, Sand Pitch; Football, from April 9 to 13 (at Pitch 10); Basketball, from April 12 to 17 at Aspire Dome, Multi-purpose Hall 1; and Football 4 x 4, from April 13 to 17 at Football Public Pitch.
The targeted group is 24 years below, whereas in other sports, it is open to 18 years old and above.Â
The women's competitions include Basketball, which will take place from April 6 to 9, while the finals will take place from April 14 to 15 at the Ladies Sport Hall; Volleyball, which takes place from April 6 to 9, and Futsal, which takes place from April 10 to 15.Â
Teams will compete in all categories at the Ladies Sport Hall, and individuals 18 years and older may participate. Â
Aspire Dome, Multi-purpose Hall 1, will have table tennis on April 11 for people with special needs. Â
According to AZF Amazing prizes await the winners to keep exercising passion for sports.
