Ashghal to close part of West Bay for 2 months starting May 10

Qatar Public Works Authority – Ashghal has announced that it will close the northern direction on Al Shaghiya Street in West Bay for two months starting May 10, 2022.

The department stated on Twitter that it will close the northern direction, while opening the southern direction on the Al Shaghiya Street for two months, to enable the infrastructure & road upgrade works within the Development of West Bay North project. 

It added that the road work will be in coordination with the Traffic Department.

Commuters heading from Balhmbar Street onto Al Shaghiya St. for Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Social Development & Family, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Municipality, and the neighboring facilities can use the parallel Balhaneen St.
