Healthcare
The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) said it is committed to integrating accessibility features for people with disabilities into the design and construction of healthcare facilities, helping improve access to services, independence, and quality of life.
In a post on X, Ashghal said its healthcare projects follow accessibility-focused design standards, including wide corridors, accessible entrances and parking, automatic doors, wheelchair-accessible restrooms, and Braille signage for visually impaired visitors.
The authority added that these efforts are part of broader goal of creating inclusive public spaces and ensuring equal access to healthcare services for all members of the community.
