Doha, October 26, 2026 : HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Prime Minister of Libya’s Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Mohammed Dbeibeh on Sunday, on the sidelines of the World Investment Forum (WIF) in Doha.
The meeting focused on bilateral cooperation and ways to strengthen and expand ties between Qatar and Libya, alongside discussions on regional developments.
Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed Qatar’s steadfast support for Libya’s unity and its people’s aspirations for stability and development.
He also reiterated Qatar’s support for the Libyan political process, relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions and peaceful solutions that safeguard Libya’s sovereignty.
