Egyptian player Mohamed Salah, the star of the English Liverpool team, confirmed that the countries of the Arab world will strongly support Qatar during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, hoping that the Arab teams will present their best levels during the tournament.
"It is possible to be in Qatar during the World Cup, and I feel very happy that the tournament will be held in an Arab country for the first time. The entire Arab world will support Qatar, and I think the World Cup will be special," the Egyptian international player said during press statements to the beIN sports channel.
Speaking about Liverpool's mediocre start to the current Premier League season, Salah said: "We weren't 100% ready, but the season has just started and we can't judge by the first two games, and we will try to make up for it in the next games." In their first two matches, Liverpool drew with both Crystal Palace 1-1, and Fulham with a score of 2-2.
Regarding the extension of his contract with Liverpool, Salah explained that he made the extension because he wanted to stay at Liverpool FC, as he feels comfortable in the club as well as in the city.
