Apple Unveils Its First Foldable iPhone — Meet the $1,999 iPhone Duo

Apple has officially entered the foldable smartphone market with the iPhone Duo, a premium new device featuring a 7.6-inch folding display, an A20 Pro processor and a starting price of $1,999.

Apple has unveiled the iPhone Duo, the company’s first-ever foldable iPhone and one of the biggest changes to the smartphone’s design since the original iPhone debuted nearly two decades ago.

Announced on September 9, 2026, the iPhone Duo combines a compact outer screen with a much larger internal folding display designed for entertainment, productivity and multitasking.
