Morocco holds one of the richest library histories in the world.

For over a thousand years, scholars, rulers, and ordinary citizens collected manuscripts. They built libraries inside mosques, madrasas, palaces, and private homes. They copied books by hand and traded them across continents. 

This story does not start with the printing press. It starts with paper, ink, devotion, and a civilization that treated the written word as sacred.
