5. Shamsan Castle
Dating to the Ottoman era, this rectangular fortress sits atop Mount Shamsan and was historically used to guard trade routes and monitor the surrounding area. At 90 meters long and 50 meters wide with three towers, it's a striking structure with sweeping views — and a solid stop for history-minded travelers.
