The draw for this year's Arab Women's Football Cup, which will be held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, from August 24 to September 6, has been drawn today.
The draw resulted in the Egypt, Tunisia, Sudan and Lebanon in the first group, while the teams of Jordan, Algeria and Palestine came in the second group.
The official website of the Arab Football Association stated that this tournament is one of the Arab Football Association competitions included in the 2021/22 season.
The first edition of the tournament was held in Alexandria, Egypt in 2006, and the Algerian team crowned its title after winning the final match over its Moroccan counterpart.
The second edition was held in the Qatari capital, Doha, in 2015, and Lebanon won the title after defeating Djibouti.
