It will take place over 28 days from November 21 to December 18, 2022, with the final being held on Qatar's National Day.

Update:
The random selection draw sales period of Sales Phase (2) for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022â„¢ tickets is now closed and ticket applications can therefore no longer be submitted, changed or withdrawn.
A ticket applicant may be successful, partially successful or unsuccessful in being allocated the tickets for which they have applied.Â
Ticket applicants will be notified of the outcome of their ticket applications by email no earlier than 31 May 2022.
Visa payment cards are the exclusive payment method accepted for residents of Qatar.
Can I book accommodation and tickets together for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022â„¢?
Qatar Accommodation Agency 2022 only offers accommodation. Tickets must be purchased separately via FIFA.com/tickets.
Packages with accommodation, match tickets, and hospitality can be purchased through Match Hospitality. Qatar Airways offer packages for flights, accommodation and match tickets, and Dalian Wanda (for China residents) offer accommodation and match ticket packages.
At the request of the Qatari authorities, ticket holders are reminded that all local and international fans must apply for a Hayya Card.
What are the benefits of the Hayya Card?
The Hayya Card will provide entry to a stadium (with a valid match ticket), entry to Qatar (for international fans), access to public transport on match days and smart journey planning (via the Hayya app).

Is applying for a Hayya Card mandatory?
Yes. All fans who wish to attend FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022â„¢ matches must apply for a Hayya Card. Click here to apply.
Do Qatar residents need to apply for a Hayya Card in order to attend matches?
Yes. Every match ticket holder will need a Hayya Card in order to attend matches.
Do I need a match ticket to apply for a Hayya Card?
Yes, at this stage we are inviting match ticket holders to apply for a Hayya Card. Further information in relation to non-ticket holders will be communicated in due course.
Do I need to have confirmed accommodation in order to apply for a Hayya Card?
No, you can begin your Hayya Card application without having booked accommodation. If you are an international fan, your Hayya Card application will only be complete once your accommodation is validated through the Hayya portal.
Is there a deadline to sign up for the Hayya Card?
No, however it is encouraged to apply for a Hayya Card as soon as your ticket(s) purchase is confirmed.
Do I need a Hayya Card to purchase match tickets/accommodation?
No, you do not need a Hayya Card to buy a match ticket or book accommodation.
How will I receive my Hayya Card?
The Hayya Card will be available immediately following approval via the Hayya app.
Is Qatar a safe place to visit?
Qatar is consistently ranked as the safest country in the region and in the top 20 globally. The country already hosts more than 90 major sporting events annually and its planning with international partners for these events has ensured their successful and safe delivery every time.
Qatar has also formed a National Security Committee to focus on security at the tournament.
The Security Committee has already signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with the UK Home Office, French Gendarmerie, the ICSS, the Council of Europe and INTERPOL, and its teams have attended dozens of major sporting events around the world to gain additional hands-on experience.
Do I need a Visa to travel to Qatar?
All international fans will need a Hayya Card to enter the State of Qatar during the tournament. The Hayya Card will act as an entry permit to Qatar for international fans.
Where will be the best place to stay when in Qatar?
Whether that is a 3 or 5-star hotel, a room on a temporarily moored cruise ship or a Bedouin-style tent under the stars, fans will be offered some truly unique accommodation options as well as more conventional ones so there will be something to suit every visitor. The SC bid included a promise of 100,000 rooms and this will be exceeded.
What will happen if I arrive in Qatar without a match ticket or accommodation?
Entry to Qatar during tournament time will not be possible without a valid Hayya Card.
What accommodation options will be available to fans during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022â„¢?
There will be a host of options, including hotels, apartments, villas, fan villages and cruise ship cabins. Visitors are also welcome to stay with family and friends.
Who is Qatar Accommodation Agency 2022?
Qatar Accommodation Agency 2022 (QAA) is the Accommodation Service Provider for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022â„¢.
Do I have to book accommodation through the Official Accommodation Agency website?
No, however the Official Accommodation Agency website has the most extensive range of accommodation options available with a variety of price points.Â
You are welcome to book accommodation via hotel/holiday websites or other means, such as holiday letting portals. Please note that all holiday home owners are encouraged to have a Qatar Tourism license.
Will there be a limit to the number of nights I can book?
No, there are currently no restrictions for match ticket holders. Bookings should, however, align to match attendance dates.
Can I book directly? Why do I need to make a booking via Qatar Accommodation Agency 2022 (QAA)?
The largest variety of accommodation options in Qatar will be available via the Qatar Accommodation Agency 2022 platform, including accommodation solutions that you will not be able to find through other channels, such as cruise ship hotels. However, you may choose to book elsewhere.
Can I book accommodation without a ticket?
At this time, QAA is prioritizing accommodation sales to match ticket holders. To book accommodation you will need your Ticket Application Number to confirm your booking.

There is a wide range of options via the Official Accommodation Agency website, with the cost per room/per night starting at US$100.
Will more accommodation options become available?

Ticketed fans will be given priority to book accommodation via the Qatar Accommodation Agency 2022. A variety of accommodation options will be available including hotels, apartments and villas, cruise ship hotels, and fan villages.
Can I stay with family and friends in Qatar at tournament time?
Yes. Your host will need to register your accommodation within the Hayya portal. Currently, up to 10 individuals can be invited as guests by a single host during the tournament. Further information about this will be communicated in due course.
Are non-married friends of different genders or couples (including LGBTQ+) allowed to stay in the same room?
Yes. There are no restrictions.
During the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022â„¢, will room rates increase significantly, or will they stay at the same price level as they are now?
Pricing is managed by Qatar Accommodation Agency 2022 (QAA) for properties booked via our website for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022â„¢. Some hotels will have rooms that are not under QAA management and rates are at their discretion.
