UK Embassy Announces Qatar's Inclusion in Super Priority Visa Service

The Embassy of the United Kingdom in Qatar has announced that Qatar has been selected to join the UK's Super Priority Visa service. This announcement was made via the Embassy’s social media platforms.

The Super Priority Visa service offers an expedited process, allowing customers to receive a decision within two working days. Applicants can request this service when visiting the Visa Application Center after submitting their online application.

In the same post, the embassy reminded all visa applicants that domestic workers must receive the national minimum wage in the UK during their employment period. Applicants may need to provide proof of this during the visa application process.

Additionally, the embassy noted that 20,000 Qatari citizens have registered for the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system so far. This system allows Qatari citizens to travel to the United Kingdom without a visa. In November 2023, the UK announced that Qatari citizens were the first in the world to benefit from its Electronic Travel Authorization system.
