University of Doha for Science and Technology
The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) has welcomed eight Palestinian students from the Al Fakhoora program, a part of the Education Above All Foundation's initiatives.
The scholarship aims to support students whose studies were disrupted by the crisis in Gaza. In a ceremony, UDST's President, Dr. Salem Al Naemi, emphasized the importance of education as an undeniable right and expressed gratitude for the initiative.
The scholarship, covering education, accommodation, and transportation, seeks to assist students in rebuilding Gaza. Talal Alhathal, Executive Director of Al Fakhoora, outlined plans to accommodate 100 students within six months and mentioned ongoing discussions with international universities in Qatar for additional scholarship opportunities.
The scholarship program includes a requirement for students to return to Gaza to work for 10 years after completing their education.
