U.S. Embassy in Doha Resumes Full Consular Services for American Citizens
The U.S. Embassy in Doha has announced the resumption of the full range of consular services for American citizens, including passport issuance and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad (CRBA). Appointments can now be scheduled through the embassyâs online booking system under the âAmerican Citizen Services Appointmentsâ section.
Officials cautioned that appointments remain limited, urging citizens with urgent needs to contact the embassy directly via ACSDoha@state.gov.
The embassy confirmed that routine visa services remain suspended. Non-immigrant visa applicants are advised to seek appointments at other U.S. missions, while thirdâcountry nationals are encouraged to apply in their country of nationality.
Updates regarding the resumption of visa services, including instructions for rescheduling previously cancelled appointments, will be posted on the embassyâs official social media platforms. At present, no timeline has been set for the restoration of routine visa processing.
