Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has renewed his call for countries that have yet to recognize the State of Palestine to do so. This statement was made during a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
"Since October 7, nine countries have recognized the State of Palestine. I once again call on the countries that have not yet done so to recognize Palestine," Erdogan said.
Regarding Turkish-Serbian relations, President Erdogan highlighted the signing of 11 agreements during his visit, aimed at strengthening the foundations of bilateral ties. He noted that trade between the two nations has exceeded USD 2 billion for two consecutive years. He emphasized the mutual goal of raising trade volume to USD 5 billion.
