HE Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti met with Central African Republic counterpart DJONO-AHABA Herbert Gontran
HE Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti met with HE the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation of the Central African Republic DJONO-AHABA Herbert Gontran, who is visiting the country.
The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation in the fields of transportation and civil aviation services and ways of further enhancing them.
Following the meeting, the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) initialed an air services agreement with the Central African Republic National Authority of Civil Aviation (ANAC). They also signed an MoU in the field of air transportation between the two sides, allowing the national carrier to operate any number of passenger or cargo flights with full transportation rights.
The agreement and the MoU were signed by HE CAA Chairman Abdulla bin Nasser Turki Al Subaiey and HE Director-General of ANAC Francois Edly Follot. (QNA)
