The Ministry of Transport (MoT) has issued a warning regarding legal actions against companies operating passenger transportation services through electronic applications without proper licensing.
In a social media update, MoT highlighted that only seven transport companies in Qatar are authorized to provide ride-hailing services. The Ministry identified Uber, Karwa Technologies, QDrive, Badr, Aber, Zoom Ride, and Ryde as the sole licensed entities permitted to conduct passenger transportation via electronic applications in the country.
