The General Directorate of Coasts and Borders Security at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) intercepted 120 kilograms of hashish while attempting to sneak it into the country through Qatari territorial waters.
On its Twitter handle, MoI said that three suspects of Asian nationality were apprehended and were referred to the General Administration for Drug Control to take necessary measures against them and refer them to the concerned authorities.
Yesterday, May 1, the Customs Department of Hamad International Airport foiled an attempt to smuggle Lyrica pills into the country. A custom official found the seized items inside the bag of a passenger amounting to 3,360 pills.
