3. PALENSTINE BOOK DISPLAY

As a heartfelt tribute to the enduring essence of Palestine and its people, MIA Library opens the doors of the rare book room to present a rare collection of books displaying special highlights of Palestine’s history. In the library majlis, visitors can read books about Palestine and write notes to hang on our ‘Support Palestine’ Library-Tree. This small open display comes as a way of support to the current situation in Palestine, and as an open comfortable space for the public to glance at the history and beauty of Palestine.

In collaboration with the library the MIA Art Programs will offer a Watercolor Painting Workshop for adults with the artist Noor Qussini inspired by the rare books about Palestine’s history. In this workshop, participants will produce an artwork using drawing and watercolor painting techniques on paper on November 8th from 4pm to 7pm.
