The Bazaar
This is the second edition of the "Homeland Bazaar", which takes place in the garden of the Museum of Islamic Art for five days.
Qatar Minister of Social Development and Family, Maryam bint Ali Al Misnad, opened the exhibition Bazar from the Homeland in the garden of the Museum of Islamic Art during the holy month of Ramadan.
The event is a collaboration between the Ministry and the Museum.
This year's bazaar includes many local initiatives from food, textiles, and handicrafts to social efforts aimed at promoting sustainability in the community.
In her speech, Sheikha Shaikha bint Jassim, Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Family Affairs Al Thani, highlighted the key role of the Family Empowerment Department in fostering innovation and creativity among Qatari youth.
He also emphasized the importance of the event as a platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and develop sustainable projects.
Sheikha Shaikha Al Thani emphasized the ministry's commitment to promote an environment conducive to marketing local products, support economic empowerment initiatives, and provide guidance for the implementation of projects to the owners.
He recognizes the central role of national productive projects to ensure the livelihood of families and notes their success as a catalyst that inspires young entrepreneurs to discover innovative business ideas.
He emphasized the cultural significance of those presented. In the second edition of From the Homeland magazine, Sheikha Shaikha reiterated the ministry's efforts to promote community engagement and preserve the rich traditions and heritage of Qatar.
Sheikha Nasser Al Nassr, Director of the Museum of Islamic Art, meanwhile praised the collaboration between the Ministry of Social Development and Family and the museum as part of the commitment of Qatari museums to support local project owners.
