The Prime Minister Visits the Surgical Specialty Center

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani visited today Hamad Medical Corporation's Surgical Specialty Center, to check on the health of a Qatari citizen who was the first in the State of Qatar to receive a lung transplant back in June, which was successful, and to meet the medical team that carried out the operation.

During the visit, His Excellency congratulated the medical team that carried out the operation that included surgeons, doctors and medical assistant technicians. His Excellency praised and expressed appreciation for their efforts and expertise in conducting one of the most complex operations, wishing them well and further success in their careers. His Excellency also wished the Qatari citizen a full recovery.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was accompanied by HE Minister of Public Health Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari, and a number of ranking officers at Hamad Medical Corporation. (QNA)
