A Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, killing one person and injuring seven others. The truck, containing gasoline, fuel canisters, and fireworks, caused a powerful blast but limited damage due to the vehicle's design.
Authorities, including the FBI, are investigating the incident as an isolated case or a potential act of terrorism. The truck was rented through the same car-sharing app as a vehicle involved in a New Orleans attack earlier that day, where 15 people were killed.
While no links have been confirmed between the two incidents, officials are probing all possibilities, including connections to Tesla and Elon Musk, a known ally of President-elect Donald Trump. Investigations are ongoing.
