Strong winds, high seas in Qatar throughout the weekend

Doha, Qatar: Weather in the weekend will be hot to very hot with northwesterly wind and dusty conditions at times, and rough seas at times as well as per Qatar Meteorology Department.

The department said on social media that the temperatures are forecast to hit 44°C on Thursday, along with some dust at times. Friday and Saturday will be 42°C with possible light-to-breeze dust, which can temporarily reduce visibility in certain areas.

For three-day minimum temps between 33-37 deg C.

Wind Speeds to Reach 34 Knots, Rough Sea Conditions Forecast

Strong northwesterly winds, 10 to 23 knots with gusts up to 34 knots day time, will prevail across the period.

Marine conditions are also forecast to be choppy, with seas of 4 feet to as much as 11 feet at times Thursday and Friday. Waves Saturday could peak at 10 feet and entailed a warning for weekend boaters.
