Location: Al-Ahmad Square - Souq Waqif

The local date festival is held annually in the State and it aims to improve the local marketing of Qatari agricultural products.The festival will have a wide range of local farms that will showcase their produce at the festival.

In addition to supplying produce at costs that are lower than those found at retail establishments, the event is anticipated to draw specialised businesses and farms from all over Qatar. Al Khalas, Al Khenaizi, Al Shishi, Al Barhi, Al Saqai, Al Razizi, Nabt Saif, and Al Lulu are just a few of the Qatari date varieties that are typically featured at the yearly festival. 

The event is organised by the Ministry of Municipality's Department of Agricultural Affairs in cooperation with Souq Waqif Services Centre.

Entry to the Local Dates Festival is free of cost.
