School timings for Ramadan in Qatar announced

Government schools timing during the holy month of Ramadan announced by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education .

Government schools in Qatar will have five periods daily with maximum 40 minutes and kindergarten schools will start from 9am till 12pm. The schools for the grade 1 to 12 students will open from 9am to 1pm. 

The schools assembly will be for 10 minutes from 9am to 9:10am, 1st period will be from 9:10am to 9:50am, 2nd from 9:55am to 10:35am and the 3rd period from 10:40am to 11:20am and 20-minute break time from 11:20am to 11:40am. The 4th period will start from 11:40am to 12:20 pm in the afternoon and fifth period from 12:20noon to 1pm.
