Red Devils to stay at Hilton Salwa in Abu Samra for Qatar 2022

The Red Devils have signed a contract with the Hilton Salwa in Abu Samra as their base camp during the upcoming Fifa World Cup 2022, stated the Royal Belgian Football Association.

It added that the Belgium delegation will have its own wing and can prepare for matches in peace and privacy.

"We are very pleased that we were able to find a base camp that will allow us to train without travelling on a daily basis. We were looking for that set up and the opportunity to have some good outdoors space, and that is the case in The Hilton Salwa," said Roberto Martínez, the Belgium coach.

The association in its statement added that the training conditions are perfect with several sports halls, an indoor swimming pool for post-match recovery and two new training pitches. "The fact that these pitches are located within the complex made the choice of this base camp very easy," it stated.
