Qatar Real Estate
Qatar's property market continues to demonstrate strong momentum as the latest weekly bulletin from the Department of Real Estate Registration at the Ministry of Justice reveals robust trading volumes for the week of 5 to 9 April 2026.
According to data reported by Qatar News Agency on 16 April 2026, the volume of real estate trading in sales contracts registered at the Ministry of Justice reached QR 725,258,705 for the five-day period.
Residential unit sales, tracked separately in the bulletin, accounted for QAR 51,971,523 of the total — reflecting sustained demand for homes, apartments, and purpose-built living spaces across Qatar's growing urban landscape.
The spread across seven distinct categories — from vacant land to commercial buildings and administrative offices — points to a market that is growing in multiple directions at once, with developers, investors, and end-users all actively participating in Qatar's property landscape.
The sales primarily focused on the following areas:
Doha
Al Rayyan
Al Wakrah
Al Daayen
Umm Salal
Al Khor
Al Dhakhira
Al Shahaniya
Al Kharaej
Lusail 69
The Pearl
Al Wukair
The volume of real estate transactions in sales contracts registered with the Real Estate Registration Department between Mar. 29- April 02 exceeded QAR 729 million.
