ROX Motors and Sky Motors have officially signed a strategic partnership agreement at the Chengdu Motor Show, marking a significant milestone for the automotive industry in Qatar. The signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Nasser Al Rabban, CEO of Sky Motors, a very prominent businessman in Qatar with interests in various sectors like hospitality, real estate, contracting and trading etc.

ROX Motors is a pioneering company in the field of new energy vehicles, founded in 2021 and headquartered in Shanghai, China. The company specializes in the development of intelligent automotive technologies, including new energy power systems, smart cockpits, and autonomous driving solutions. ROX Motors is renowned for its innovative approach to off-road new energy vehicles, offering a product that combines cutting-edge technology with robust performance.

Sky Motors, represented by Mr. Nasser Al Rabban, is the official distributor of ROX in Qatar. The ROX 01 is a plug-in hybrid SUV that boasts a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine paired with two electric motors, delivering a combined 350kW and 740Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds and has a top speed of 190 km/h. The vehicle offers a total range of 1,338 km in hybrid mode. The ROX 01 features a tech-loaded cabin with a 15.7-inch infotainment system, 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS. It is available in a 7 seat and 6 seat configurations.
