HE Minister of Labor with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs
HE Minister of Labor Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri met separately with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen, and HE Minister of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment of Bangladesh Imran Ahmad.
The meetings reviewed aspects of joint cooperation in issues related to labor fields, and ways of promoting and strengthening them in the coming period.
On the other hand, the joint Qatar-Bangladesh committee for labor affairs held a meeting in Dhaka Sunday under the chairmanship of Assistant Undersecretary for Labor Affairs in the Ministry of Labor Mohammed Hassan Al Obaildi, and HE Minister of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment of Bangladesh Imran Ahmad.
The meeting of the joint committee was convened in accordance with the agreement signed between the two countries in the field of manpower, with the aim of enhancing the bilateral cooperation and the exchange of experiences between the two countries in the various labor fields.
The two sides discussed many issues related to the labor sector and the expectations of the labor market in both countries, and reviewed the agenda and workflow procedures between the two sides. The two sides stressed the importance of educating workers about the laws, procedures, rights and duties that regulate the labor market.
