The aviation sector continues to experience a significant increase in flight movements, passengers, air cargo, and mail. In November 2023, there was a substantial uptick in all three categories compared to the same period in the previous year.
Qatar Civil Aviation Authority reported a 7% rise in aircraft movements last month compared to November 2022. The latest Preliminary Airport Transport Statistics, released on X, showcased impressive figures for November 2023.
In November 2022, Qatar recorded 20,746 flight movements, while this year, 22,195 aircraft movements were registered during the same month.
Passenger numbers saw a notable increase of 23.2% in November 2023 compared to the corresponding month in the previous year. The authority reported 3.9 million air travelers in November 2023, compared to 3.2 million passengers during the same period last year.
