Asian Men's Volleyball Championship
Qatar qualified for the next round of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship 2023 after defeating Afghanistan 3-0 (25-19 / 25-16 /25-19) at the end of its preliminary round matches on Sunday.
On Saturday, Qatar defeated India 3-0 (25-20 / 25-19 / 25-19) in its first match in the championship. With its two wins, the Qatari team earned a full score of 6 points within Group E.
Eighteen teams are participating in the 22nd Asian Men's Volleyball Championship. They are Iran, Hong Kong and Iraq (Group A), Japan, Uzbekistan and Thailand (Group B), China, Kazakhstan and Indonesia (Group C), Taiwan, Bahrain and Mongolia (Group D), and Pakistan, South Korea and Bangladesh (Group F).
