18th Conference of Ministers of Higher Education, Scientific Research in Arab World
The State of Qatar is participating in the 18th Conference of Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Arab World, which kicked off Sunday in Algeria under the title of "Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Arab World by 2030: Vision and Directions". The three-days conference is being organized in cooperation with the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).
In the conference, Qatar delegation is headed by HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi.
The first two days of the conference will be held at the expert level, while the third day will be held at the ministerial level.
The participants of the conference will discuss several topics related to the theme "Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Arab World by 2030: Vision and Directions," as well as the "higher education and scientific research in Algeria: current situation and future prospects."
The participants in the conference will also address the development of regional performance indicators for the uses of artificial intelligence and the executive plan for the general framework of Arab scientific research in the cultural, social and economic fields.
This conference is considered a tool to study and discuss the basic and mutual aspects at the level of higher education systems in the Arab countries. It represents an opportunity to form future visions and perceptions to improve the educational process and achieve comprehensive quality in it, in addition to exchanging experiences in the fields of higher education and scientific research at the Arab level - in order to develop their policies, strengthen their structure and upgrade their educational curricula and research programs.
