Qatar national football team left the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup, after losing to Panama 4-0, in the quarter-finals of the tournament hosted by the United States and Canada until July 16.

Panama's goals were recorded by Ismael Diaz and Edgar Barcenas in the minutes 19, 56, 63 and 65.

The Qatari team was in second place in Group B in the first round with 4 points after Mexico.

The semi-finals will be held on July 12, and the final match will be played on July 16.

This is Qatar's second appearance in the Concacaf Gold Cup. The national team participates in the tournament as a guest of honour at a special invitation from CONCACAF, under a cooperation agreement signed with Qatar Football Association.
