Qatar climbs six spots in global quality of life index

Again making the country one of the world's best places to live, Qatar has surged six positions up from its previous 18th place globally in the mid-2026 Numbeo Quality of Life Index and now stands on top as No. Revealed this week by the Numbeo Global Database, the latest rankings shows Qatar is ranked among the top 15 countries in the world on how well residents are doing.

According to the National Planning Council (NPC), this is also a regional win for Qatar, which ranks second among GCC nations.
