Qatar Swimming Team
Qatar swimming team won Saturday seven medals (one silver, 6 bronzes) at the conclusion of the First Arab Water Games Championship in Egypt, ending their participation in the tournament with a total of 18 medals (one gold, 6 silvers and 11 bronzes).
The relay team consisting of Ahmed Mohamed, Abdullah Al Ghamri, Hamza Mahmoud and Mohamed Aziz won the silver medal in the 4x100m medley for the 14-15-year category.
Meanwhile, Ziyad Abdullah won the bronze medal in the 100-meter butterfly race for the 12-13-year category, Ahmed Mohamed the bronze medal in the 400-meter freestyle race for the 14-15-year category, Hamza Mahmoud bronze medal in the 200-meter breaststroke for the same category, while Abdullah Al Ghamry won bronze medal in the 100-meter backstroke for the 14- 15-year category.
The relay team consisting of Marwan Hassan, Ziyad Abdullah, Saad Al Sulaiti and Abdullah Muhammad won bronze medal for the 4 x 100 meters medley race for the 12-13-year category, while the relay team consisting of Tamim Muhammad, Youssef Hassan, Omar Hassan and Abdullah Al Khalidi won bronze medal for the same race for the 16-18-year category.
