Qatar Post Launches Enhanced CONNECTED Service to Expand Global Shopping Access

Qatar Post

Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) has unveiled the latest version of its international shipping platform CONNECTED, designed to provide customers in Qatar with seamless access to leading global online retailers. The upgraded service enables shoppers to purchase items from international stores that do not offer direct delivery to Qatar, with secure home delivery supported by a reliable logistics network.

Through CONNECTED, customers are assigned dedicated international shipping addresses in countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Jordan. Purchases are received, consolidated, processed, and re‑shipped to Qatar via flexible shipping options at competitive rates. Expansion plans are already underway to add more origin countries, broadening the service’s reach.

The platform offers a fully digital experience, allowing users to track shipments, manage orders, and access shopping guides and store links. Customers can choose from multiple shipping solutions tailored to each country, simplifying international purchases and enhancing convenience. Payment options include online transactions and cash‑on‑delivery, while home delivery ensures a smooth process from checkout to final receipt.

As part of its added value, CONNECTED integrates with the Qatar Airways Privilege Club, enabling customers to earn Avios points with every shipment. These can be redeemed for flight tickets, cabin upgrades, and exclusive rewards, linking e‑commerce with travel benefits.

Qatar Post CEO Hassan Jassim Al Sayed stated that the enhanced CONNECTED service reflects the company’s commitment to developing innovative logistics solutions that support the growth of e‑commerce. He emphasized that the initiative strengthens Qatar’s digital infrastructure, improves speed and transparency in shipping, and reinforces the country’s position as a regional hub for postal and logistics services.

Officials noted that CONNECTED represents a strategic step toward integrated digital solutions, keeping pace with the rapid evolution of global e‑commerce and meeting the changing needs of consumers in Qatar.
